17 year old crossing the border. Need some info.?

Heading to the Prog Nation Tour in Albany on May 18th from Toronto, Ontario. We’re riding a Greyhound there and staying at a motel. I have a passport and the written permission of one parent (they are divorced and the other one lives in Russia). I’m 17 and am travelling with another 17 year old and one 18 year old. Would I have any trouble crossing the border?

Documents for travel to the United States

Land ports of entry

As of January 31, 2008, Canadian citizens travelling by land to the United States must present one of the following:

a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s licence, PLUS a birth certificate or citizenship card; or
a valid passport; or
a NEXUS or a Free and Secure Trade (FAST) card; or
an enhanced driver’s licence; or
a Certificate of Indian Status (CIS) card; or
for those aged 18 and under only proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate, is required.
Full implementation of the document requirements for travel by land and water to the United States under the WHTI will take effect no earlier than June 1, 2009. The United States has yet to release the final rule on full implementation, which will specify the secure travel documents that will be accepted at U.S. land and water ports of entry.

–should not be an issue, especially w/ a passport
