on scale of 1-10, how annoying was I 2 my host friend? He’s very diplomatic and would never show it to me, but

I visited a friend in Nabeul last week. He comes from a very average, somewhat conservative family. I could tell I seemed to be causing a seen when people on the street kept walking up and talking to him as we toured the old city, one guy he didn’t even know pretended to know him!
I was visiting them at their home everyday for 4 days (it seems to be the habit there for friends to visit a home & not meet up outside) and I could tell his mother was a little “suspicious”, I mean they all know we’re just freinds, but I guess she doesn’t “buy” the idea that a single young girl from Syria would travel alone to visit a male friend inTunisia just because she’s on holiday!
I still wouldn’t have noticed, only to make things worse, they envited me to join them to a wedding they were attending in a near buy village (Dar Sha3ban) and I liked the idea of getting to know their traditions so I went, it never occured to me that everyone would assume I was his fiance!
Would he hate me now?

Well i dont think you did anything that would make him not like you any more….and plz take into conisderation that he’s from a consirvative area where the friendship idea isnt very common and as u said i dont think you did anything annoying yet..well that if u told the whole story…and what kind of scenes did u make? i mean they didnt know and they were just asking, ppl tend to be curious here, i guess its the fact ur an arab that made u do that :p so be sure its all the same eveywhere
am from carthage and i have male friends from europe and its okay as long as they dont stay in my house and here nobody suspects they’re my bfs exept some very complicated ppl that i pay no attention to so i dont think you should do the same …
and its not ur fault that u arent his fiancé and made him a lil incomfortabe with it if thats what u meant…
Guys here are open minded so i shouldnt really care much :p
