Im going to New Orleans on vacation and…(10 points)?

Im going to New Orleans on vacations and i wanted someone to give me some interesting (well more so, unique) things that i can do when out there….this is what i have so far:

-i already have my restaurant ideas covered
-i know about the swamp/ghost tours
-im not really interested in the museums
-i am going through the french quarters, bourbon street, harrahs

so im basically looking for something fun and unique like places to play paintball, a unique class i can take, places that will let me make candies (pralines and things of that sort).

any ideas?? (10 points)

Depending on how long you’re staying, you already seem to have the main tourist things covered. If you have time, would recommend heading west on I-10 to Lafayette – the capital of Cajun Country – or Lake Charles – Contraband Days is a lot of fun. The Gulf Coast of Mississippi and Alabama are nice too.
I would also suggest finding out what parts of New Orleans you SHOULDN’T go to.
