Reggae Beach is just ten minutes east of Ocho Rios. An incredibly beautiful and secluded beach to spend the day and feast on Jamaican's favourites such as fried fish and bammies. Consider making a trip to Irie Beach , on the White River if you want to splash in one of the island's emerald sandy-bottomed rivers It is also secluded. There is also Mahogany Beach, a lovely beach in town which is located in Caribe on the Main Street, very protected. Restaurant and bar service is available.

If you prefer beaches buzzing with lots of people and plenty of water sports, walk east a short distance from the cruise ship terminal you will find The turtle Beach.

This beach is near to resort hotels, restaurants, bar and shops. Swimming conditions are ideal and there is water toy rentals and changing facilities. You can expect to be interupted by vendors plying there wares in straw baskets. You can also get your hair braided in corn rows if you admire the style and want to have that look.
