Would it be possible for a person with full control over black holes to warp time?
Me and my friend where talking about what black holes were capable of. He stated that if a person were given the ability to produce and control black holes they would be able to warp and travel through time without effecting the environment. I don’t believe that they are capable of all of this, but i don’t have enough scientific know how to prove him wrong. Could someone help me find out if what he is saying is plausible or not.
I think he was talking about someone with the super power to control black holes, not real people.
All matter warps space-time, thus effecting both space and time in the immediate vicinity or field of the object. So it is only local control, but I don’t see people controlling matter big enough to form black holes anytime soon.
For a black hole inside the event horizon, time would seem to stop for you, but to an outside observer you’re spaghetti-like self would already be gone. So controling one from a distance is mandatory.
This could only be accomplished by a Type III civilization on the Kardashev scale. We are just a Type 0.71 btw.
