Hi,
Am heading over to Vietnam for a holiday from the 28th Dec to 13th Jan 2009. Will be travelling North to South along the east coast on the Gecko’s Reunification Express Tour.
Could any locals fill me on some local information Please.
1. How the weather is this time of year? (Hot, Wet, Cold?)
2. How is the Reunification express rail trip and is there any valuable info on what to bring aboard?
3. We are travelling and stopping through Hanoi, Hue, Perfume River Cruise, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Saigon, Cu Chi Tunnels. Is there any sights we should definitely see or should not. Foods we should try and activities to be recommended?
4. Also, the adaptors over there, what wall adaptors are most commonly found over there, especially onboard the reunification express?

Its about 15oC in the North and 25oC in the South at this time of the year (Decbember), no rain!

- Saigon: Cu Chi Tunnels, China Town, Indepedent Palace, War Museum, Ben Thanh Market and Nguyen Hue Street where ppl celebrate the Xmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, …
Adaptors used in Vietnam are definitely the 2-round-pin ones, but its easily to find the converter somewhere
