new york facts for my state report!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!?

OK, I have to do a state report and make a brochure for my social studies and writing grade and i need websites to look for information like the climates, state song, state bird, etc.
i also need a website to see how much time/miles are there between some place to new york with the travel speed of 50 miles per hour………please…….i need help!
oh. and i also need to know about at least two important people who grew up there

I found out that the state song is I love New york, the state bird is the blue bird, and that New York has a temperate climate, with cold winters and warm summers.
